SHAKESPEARE

William Shakespeare was a poet and a playwright, and he is considerate the best writer in English of all times. He was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon and he died in 1616.

He wrote plays, sonnets and other kind of poems, but he has become famous mostly for his plays. 

At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, and they had three children. He moved to London to work, where in 1599 the Globe Theathre was built, and there some of his plays where first performed. In 1613 it burnt, and in 1997 a reconstruction was built near the original

A reason why maybe Shakspeare's plays are that famous and important even now a days is because they all have a little bit of fantasy. In his plays there are always parties, weddings or funerals.

SOME OF THE SHAKESPEARE'S PLAYS:

The Merchant of Venice: It's the story of a bussiness man who owes money to a money lender. The play shares the idea that everyone finally gets what they deserve.

Hamlet: A man is murdered by another man who then marries his wife, after this, his son, Hamlet wants to take revenge but he's not sure if he'll be able to do it or not. In the play, is about the revenge and how difficult is to take action sometimes.

As you like it: A comedy about romantic love play, where there many jokes, songs, games and of course, love. 

Henry V: A play about a famous king and a battle, in which you can see the preparation for the war, and the results. You can also find questions such like: why do men fight?
